Chapter 2

I opened my eyes and I couldn’t stand to move, my heart ached too much to move.
That dream it was the worst dream I ever had…I mean my sister wouldn’t give up on me… right? I could feel my chest burn with pain, this morning I was happy and in a matter of hours I feel worse than I had before.
  Huh, what’s that noise? People, no it’s a person, on a phone?
“So this is her she looks so sad up close, so this is yours now I’m guessing.”
I turned my head toward the man who was talking, “holy!”. He looked dark, but some how human he was kind of cute, to tell you the truth. He had long beautiful dark red hair, and he wore simple jeans and a black shirt. He’s eyes where the best of his appearance, they were a handsome shade of brown with a tad of dark red, I couldn’t look away from them.
“Crap, ha, you scared the heck out of me, oh not you the girl, yes she’s awake. Ha, to tell you the truth she looks scared or shocked it’s one of them.” He looked away from me I barely caught the anger in his eyes as he turned. I had a questioned look on my face, wondering what the other person had said to him to make him so angry. “Yes sir” he said in a stern voice, he turned back to me with a wonderful smile, “Its time for you to get out of bed Kattrina… I mean Kattina, ha, ha.” Wait, why did he say my sisters name before he got mine?
“May I ask where I am?” I said in a soft voice.
“Yes you may but I think your going to recognized it here in a sec, so let us wait shall we? Ha, now if you’ll please.” He pointed me toward the door, which I’m sure was the back. I obeyed quietly, and walked toward the door. How I was acting was strange to me, it wasn’t how I usually acted. For some reason I felt oddly comfortable around him as if I knew him or something.
As we walked outside my eyes widened, he was right I been here before but I still didn’t fully remember where I was. He went and stood by a tree, and smiled. That’s when it hit me; it was Joshua, a childhood friend my sister and I used to play with. Wait that can’t be, other than the fact that it was forever ago, he left with his older brother for some reasons unknown. “Joshua!” I couldn’t hold it in, I ran towards him with overpowered happiness, and gave him a hug. I had so many questions but the only one I blurted out was…“How old are you now, 500?”
“5o3 actually, but you were close!” We shared a laugh as we both over exaggerated, I gave him another hug. “Do you realize how hard it is to get you, little girl?”
“Hey I’m not little anymore, I’m 16.”I told him in a proud voice, standing up as straight as I could.
“Ha, you’re right, you changed so much!” he then pulled me into a tight hug; I hugged him back as tight as I could. I mean I can’t blame him; we haven’t seen each other in so long, “I missed you so much.”
He sighed and let go of me, I pouted and looked up at him. “I missed you too, you know. Oh, hey where is your brother Jonathan?”
I saw his face sink, more like an irritation than depressed. He noticed how worried I looked and quickly put on a smile, it was fake smile but no other human being would’ve noticed. “He is on his way,” he stopped and gave me his real smile; “with a visitor actually, I hope you don’t mind, though I’ll doubt that you will.”
“Why would you say that, what if I did mind… not that I do but what if?”
He started to walk away as he spoke, “Oh, I just figured since it is someone you know.” He turned his head back to yet again give me his beautiful smile.
I plainly had a questions printed on my face, “W-who?” was all I could say.
“Now, now their on there way…ha, I spoke too soon their here.”
What I didn’t hear any- there was a knock at the door, he must’ve got a phone call or something, there’s no way he would’ve known before hand. I bolted to the door to greet Jonathan, and to find out who the other person was, curiosity always wins the battle.
I opened the door, though it felt strange this wasn’t even my house and I was answering the door. To my surprise Jonathan picked me up and hugged me, obviously as overwhelmed with joy as I was. I, of course, hugged him back; I stopped short though, because I heard a door open from the car.
Curiosity found its way on my face again though I smiled first I let Jonathan go and tried to look over his shoulder. First out of the car came the legs of a woman and then her body showed, I stood there and just stared at her, things started to become blurry. What’s going on? Oh, no… not these again…please…please. The last thing I saw was Josh’s face over me with worry, I could hear his voice, but his lips weren’t moving. It’s like I took a picture of him and never let it go even after my eyes had shut down.
Open eyes quickly, we have to see her again- her picture came up, just the way I saw her before. Thanks, but I want to talk to her too! I could feel elusions coming together so I’d be able to talk to her. What are you so afraid of eyes you can do this, I’m right here with you. Wait why am I prep talking my own eyes, I SAID OPEN! To my surprise my eyes slowly opened, apparently too afraid to look.

“Ahhhhh holy,” I yelled as I quickly sat up from an unrecognizable bed. There was no lady, no Jonathan, no Joshua! I got out of the bed and found my self in a white sleeping gown, my face suddenly got red, but I pushed that aside. I ran down the stairs, though without my knowledge I smiled like I was a little kid ready to meet her mom outside for pancakes, which was what I was suddenly craving for. I immediately went outside, and saw Joshua, Jonathan, and my sister waiting for me with a white table in the middle of the large green backyard white table. My sister, wearing the same thing I was, was sitting on the grass patting a spot next to her. I remember coming here when I was young; it was Jon and Josh’s grandparents’ house. I sat next to my sister, and gave her a huge hug; it was awhile before I let her go and kissed her forehead. “You’re late”
